It has been one year for TechKiller. It is the same day last year, I have brought this domain and started blogging on a custom domain instead of wordpress.com and blogger. Over this past one year there has been many obstacles for me to keep the blog posted. Despite of the problems I have tried my level best to keep posting some good information in this TechKiller Blog.

Now to celebrate the first birthday of the TechKiller , I have created a new site called www.tenfacts.in which will be a list site providing facts and some information to the readers to waste the time righteously. Hope you guys will support my new blog also.

Ubuntu Mobile Operating System

You read it right. Ubuntu now fits your phone. Now we have official confirmation form Cannonical, the company which runs the Ubuntu. This news comes in a delight for the millions of Ubuntu Desktop users.

Ubuntu is primarilly a linux operating system for desktops founded by Mark Shuttleworth. The Ubuntu has formally initated the Ubuntu Mobile a long time back and now it is ready to be introduced to the consumer market.

But as per the current situation, no devices has been built specially for the ubuntu mobile.Ubuntu’s founder, Mark Shuttleworth, said he was in talks with manufacturers for devices to be sold with the system pre-installed within the year.

Ubuntu says the design of the operating system as elegance and distilled and quotes as follows “ Designed to make all your phone content easier to access and your apps more immersive – every edge has a specific purpose, making all your apps, content and controls instantly accessible, without navigating back to the home screen every time. And the Ubuntu phone fits perfectly into the wider family of Ubuntu interfaces, alongside the PC and TV. It’s a uniquely, beautifully converged experience”.

The key feature behind the Ubuntu Mobile is that the mobile can bring you the power of computing to the next level. The ubuntu mobile will be our pc in the pocket.

Robert Moog

Google is always awesome. When it matters to celebrations they really put their effort in creating doodle regarding the celebration and is always welcomed by ever googler. So watching out google’s doodle for every festival becomes habit for many people including me. Most important thing is that I came to know some famous people whom I am not aware.

In such a way today i came to know Robert Bob Moog  founder of moog music, an American pioneer of Electronic music and best known as the inventor of  Moog Synthesizer. Always the google doodle will be either a pictureand recent times the doodle is made up of audio and video.

To celebrate the Robert Moog’s birthday Google came up with a Moog Synthesizer in place of the doodle. At first I thought that it was just a picture. Then suddenly I felt that the doodle is somewhat different and give it a try and to my amusement its a Moog Synthesizer.

The best part of the doodle other than that we can play the Moog Synthesizer is the feature to record and play it. Morever you will see a url icon which just gives you a url to play the recorded music again and also has the feature to share in Google+.

However it is not to be meant to gve competition to Facebook or Google Plus the theme behind the So.cl is give the edge to students to share information among their peers and friends. So.cl combines the social networking feature along with search for the purpose of learning.

So.cl is some what similar to facebook and twitter. The tag , follow,following,share and posts etc. There is new feature in so.cl which is riff.
